Frequently asked questions

If you don’t find your answer here, reach out anytime.

Do I need prior experience?

No. Our beginner courses start with centering, pulling, and joining. You’ll finish with finished, food-safe pieces.

What should I wear to in-studio classes?

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on and closed-toe shoes. We provide aprons, towels, and reclaim stations.

Are materials included?

Most classes include clay and basic tools. Specialty glazes or large projects may require an additional materials fee listed in the class description.

How often do you fire the kiln?

We bisque-fire weekly and glaze-fire every other week. Schedules may shift during holidays; we’ll notify your group if timelines change.

Do you offer refunds?

Full refunds are available up to 7 days before the first class. Within 7 days, we offer studio credit if we can fill your seat.

Is the studio accessible?

Yes. Our main studio and restrooms are wheelchair accessible. Please email us about any specific accommodations so we can prepare.

Can I make food-safe ware?

Yes. We use food-safe clays and glazes for functional ware. Your instructor will advise on specific surfaces and firing schedules.

What if I miss a session?

We provide make-up options when seats are available and share brief recaps. For online live, recordings are available for 7 days.
